Senior Workday Finance Consultant – up to 95,000 – Hybrid

Overview

In this role you will lead functional design and work closely with Finance leadership to deliver scalable Workday Financials solutions. You will configure modules across GL, AP, AR, assets, expenses, procurement and banking, while ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS and SOX. You will drive data migration, testing and post go-live support, shaping finance transformation in a global enterprise. This is a client-facing position that blends hands-on configuration with strategic finance expertise to deliver high-performing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design workshops with Finance stakeholders across R2R, P2P and O2C
• Configure Workday Financial Management modules including GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement and Banking
• Support Chart of Accounts design, accounting rules and reporting structures
• Drive data migration, validation and reconciliation including open balances
• Collaborate with integration teams to connect Workday with external systems
• Develop and test Workday reports, dashboards and analytics for Finance leadership
• Configure business processes, approvals, workflows and control frameworks
• Support testing cycles (unit testing, UAT, cutover planning) and training
• Ensure SOX, GAAP and IFRS compliance; support post go-live stabilisation

Key requirements

• Hands-on experience configuring Workday Financial Management
• Experience with Business Process Framework configuration and security setup
• Strong Workday reporting capability (Advanced Reports and analytics)
• Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS
• Experience supporting Workday implementations or enhancements
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments
