Head of Design & Sustainability – HVAC – Job Overview

Head of Design & Sustainability required for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the design, installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Location: London

Responsibilities

• Head up the Design division
• Oversee technical strategy for decarbonisation projects.
• Provide QA/QC on all design deliverables.
• Lead high-value proposals and client presentations.
• Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships.
• Mentor engineers across all tiers.
• Lead high-value and costed proposals to clients, ensuring commercial and technical strength.
• Drive innovation in low-carbon design and financing models.
• Represent our client at industry events, panels, and conferences.

The opportunity will be a hybrid role with regular UK travel, expect 40-50% of time to be spent at client sites and industry events.

Head of Design & Sustainability – HVAC- Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £80,000 – £100,000 DOE
• Bonus Scheme
• Car Allowance – £500pm

Head of Design & Sustainability – HVAC – Job Requirements

• Experience managing a design division, ideally from a contractor however, a consultancy background would also be considered
• 10+ years’ building services/HVAC design experience.
• Recognised authority in decarbonisation and sustainability.
