Independent Reviewing Officer — Child Safeguarding Lead

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an Independent Reviewing Officer to chair statutory reviews for Children in Care and ensure care plans are robust and child-centred.

The role provides independent oversight of care planning and safeguarding, focusing on the voice of the child and compliance with statutory guidance such as the Children Act 1989. The position is permanent, full-time from January 2027, based in Rotherham.
