Senior Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will help build the technology powering EV charging in a mission-driven GreenTech. You will work within a product-focused team to deliver scalable software that supports sustainable energy solutions. The role emphasizes modern architecture, experimentation, and raising the bar while embracing safe risk-taking. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, technically innovative solutions in a hybrid London environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Kotlin-based software, and integrate with Java where needed
• Design and implement microservices on cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver value in a product-focused environment
• Ambitiously raise the bar and challenge status quo while taking calculated risks
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code quality initiatives
• Participate in a hybrid working pattern with in-office and remote collaboration

Key requirements

• Kotlin software development experience (or willingness to work with Kotlin)
• AWS or other cloud experience
• Microservices architecture experience
• Experience in modern, product-focused tech companies
• Open to Core Java as needed to support Kotlin
