Associate – Direct Real Estate

Overview

Join a high-impact investment team in London as part of Pictet’s pan-European Direct Real Estate franchise. You will support the acquisition, asset management, disposal, refinancing, and fundraising processes across a multi-sector portfolio in Europe, collaborating with partners and senior colleagues. The role offers exposure to diverse asset classes within a leading private financial institution and a dynamic, start-up-like environment with strong backing from the wider Pictet Group. Your work will drive investment performance and reporting, across cross-border teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the acquisition process: source opportunities, review underwriting, prepare Investment Committee materials, perform due diligence (commercial, technical, legal, structuring, tax), term negotiations
• Assist asset and portfolio management: manage a pan-European multi-sector portfolio, collaborate with operating partners and finance to improve performance, prepare quarterly reports and internal presentations
• Contribute to disposal and refinancing: coordinate with partners, brokers, lenders, and buyers to dispose assets and assess performance impact
• Contribute to fundraising: prepare ad-hoc materials for existing and pipeline investments

Key requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in private real estate (IB, value-add fund, or operating partner)
• Solid modelling and analytical skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented across locations
• Excellent command of English and another European language
