Overview
In this role, you drive revenue by identifying market opportunities in construction sectors and managing a robust sales and tender pipeline. You will collaborate with estimating, commercial, and bid teams to craft compelling proposals and secure projects for delivery. You’ll lead commercial negotiations and ensure smooth handovers to delivery teams, while monitoring forecasts and market activity for leadership. This is a hybrid role based in Hertfordshire, blending office work with meetings on the road, ideal for a results-focused professional shaping growth in construction.
Responsibilities
- Research market trends and identify upcoming capital projects across residential, commercial, and education sectors
- Manage and qualify a strong sales/tender pipeline and proactively pitch services
- Collaborate with estimating, commercial, and bid teams to shape proposals and PQQ responses
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiate terms, and ensure smooth handover to delivery
- Track sales forecasts, CRM data, conversion rates, and monitor competitor activity for senior leadership
