Senior Account Manager / Account Director

Overview

In this freelance role you will lead high-profile client relationships and end-to-end campaigns for Hypebeast in a fast-growing, cross-functional team. You’ll manage both supplied asset and produced campaigns, coordinating production, events, and campaigns across regions. You’ll drive delivery, QA, reporting, and stakeholder communication, shaping successful outcomes for top brands. A strong, energetic presence and strategic problem-solving will help you scale our client programs and elevate our publishing and creative production efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mix of supplied asset and produced campaigns and nurture top-tier client relationships
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders
• Oversee pre-production, shoots, post-production, and events where applicable
• Collaborate with Creative Editorial, social, AdOps, and Paid Social to plan and launch campaigns across regions
• Coordinate insertion orders, scheduling, and inventory conflicts; ensure timelines are met
• QA ad tags and creative; monitor delivery across systems; ensure campaign quality
• Analyze performance, report to clients and internal teams, and present end-of-campaign results

Key requirements

• 6-7 years in account or project management within advertising or publishing, focused on digital media
• London-based, immediate availability preferred, able to travel to Old Street
• Strong written and verbal communication; client-facing experience with demanding stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving mindset and problem-solving capabilities
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and ability to multitask under tight schedules
• Mentorship ability to guide junior team members
• Deep understanding of Sales, Creative, and Production processes
• Able to work independently and maintain high energy and positivity
