Data Analyst

Overview

As a BI Analyst in Boeing Defence UK, you will deliver analytics capabilities to customers by building BI models, dashboards, and reports. You will blend programming, SQL, and domain knowledge to create scalable BI solutions that drive productivity and outcomes. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to capture needs, promote innovative data solutions, and support graduates and early-career colleagues. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge analytics in a globally recognized defence environment and opportunities to impact decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop BI information models, dashboards, metrics, and reports aligned with business objectives.
• Design and automate analytics and reporting using BI tools and best practices.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into value-adding analytics solutions.
• Foster innovation and strong customer relationships within the team and with external customers.
• Provide training and support to graduates and early-career colleagues.

Key requirements

• Hands-on BI/visualisation experience with Tableau or similar tools.
• Interest in data science techniques, including data science and machine learning.
• Curious, problem-solving mindset with innovative thinking.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL solutions, and data pipeline architecture.
• General SQL knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Educational/certification from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience.
