Warehouse Operatives / Handballers
for a busy warehouse operation based at
Northampton Cross Logistics Park (NN4) .This is a
physically demanding, fast-paced role
involving the manual handling of
large and heavy garden furniture , so candidates must be comfortable with regular heavy lifting and working as part of a team.Shift Pattern
This role operates on a
rotational shift pattern :Week 1Monday – Friday
10:30 – 19:00
Week 2Sunday:
07:00 – 16:00
Followed by
4 days:
06:00 – 14:30
With
1 weekday off
(this day rotates each week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday)
This means every second week starts with a
Sunday shift followed by early shifts .The Role
You will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, mainly unloading containers and handling heavy products ready for storage or distribution.Key Responsibilities
Unloading containers and handling heavy garden furniture
Moving, sorting and organising stock within the warehouse
Preparing products for storage or dispatch
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Requirements
Ability to perform
heavy lifting throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a
fast-paced warehouse environment
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Good teamwork and communication skills
Previous warehouse or handballing experience is preferred but not essential
