Interim Finance Director

We are working with a scaling, PE-backed organisation who are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Director to support the CFO and provide leadership across the finance function during a period of change.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are excited by the opportunity to join a smaller, agile organisation where they can have a visible impact, operate closely with senior leadership and take a hands-on approach to driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure robust forecasting, cashflow management and working capital oversight.
• Support year-end audit and statutory reporting activities.
• Drive improvements in reporting quality, accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Support the CFO with Board reporting, investor reporting and strategic planning activities.
• Provide scenario analysis and recommendations to support growth initiatives.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to operational and commercial leaders.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to drive accountability and performance.
• Support finance transformation and reporting improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Previous experience as an Interim Finance Director, or Head of Finance, with proven experience in smaller, scaling organisations
• Experience within financial controls and running day-to-day finance operations
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling expertise.
• Proven ability to partner with senior operational stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with a commercial mindset.

What’s on offer?
