Clinical Lead for CERN Wigan

Overview

In this role you will provide clinical leadership to the CERN service, shaping pathways across adult and older adult community services. You will supervise, support and consult with locality teams and co-design care with service users and experts by experience. You will deliver therapeutic interventions for CERN, oversee pathway evaluation, and collaborate to transform community mental health services. Responsibilities

• Clinically lead CERN pathways across adult and older adult community services, ensuring best practice and co-produced development
• Provide supervision, consultation and support to locality teams
• Engage with people with CERN and MDT colleagues to manage cases as needed
• Deliver therapeutic interventions (SCM, MBT) for CERN
• Supervise Senior Practitioners and other staff requiring expert supervision
• Provide training on CERN therapies as appropriate
• Evaluate and develop CERN pathways in line with Trust strategy
• Collaborate with psychological professionals and contribute to the Psychological Therapies Hub and community transformation

Key requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or similar qualification
• Accredited training in SCM or MBT
• Demonstrable experience with CERN service users and MDT clinical work
• Experience in service evaluation, development and training delivery
• Knowledge of Clinical Governance and national guidance for psychological therapies in community services
