Job Description Location: Kent, London & Home Counties Salary: £35,000–£45,000 DOE Hours: 8:30am–4:30pm Job Type: Full-time, Permanent n The role will involve planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive call-outs, with occasional travel to sites further afield including Brighton, Bristol and Oxford . n n The Role n n n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) n n Attend reactive call-outs and breakdowns n n Fault finding and diagnosis n n Repairs and remedial works n n Complete service reports and job sheets n n Travel across Kent, London and the Home Counties n n Occasional overnight stays where required n n n About You n n n Previous experience in a service and maintenance engineering role n n Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills n n Comfortable working independently on customer sites n n Good communication and customer service skills n n Relevant technical qualifications are desirable n n Full UK driving licence n n n Call-Out & Overtime n n n Current call-out rota 1 in 4, moving towards 1 in 5 n n £100 retaining fee for each week on call, whether called out or not n n Overtime available n n Overtime hourly rate n n Overnight overtime paid at 2x hourly rate n n Stay-away allowance paid when required n n Door-to-door travel time is not normally paid; travel time is only considered payable where an engineer is required to return to the office before travelling home n n n Package n n n £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience n n Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm n n Regular work across Kent, London and the Home Counties n n Overtime and call-out opportunities n n Stable, long-term position n n n JBRP1_UKTJ
