Job Description Fire and Security Business Development Engineer n Bath n £45,000-£50,000 basic, depending on experience + commission Company car or car allowance, 2x Death in Service, company perks n n We are looking for an experienced Service Business Development Engineer to develop and grow recurring service contract revenue and generate new opportunities across fire, security, electrical and compliance services.n n The role will focus on winning new maintenance contracts, managing existing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for remedial works, upgrades, small projects and compliance improvements.n n You will work closely with operational teams and engineers to ensure a smooth handover of new contracts while maximising commercial opportunities.n Key Responsibilities n n n Identify and secure new service and maintenance contracts. n Manage contract renewals and help retain existing customers. n Carry out customer reviews and identify opportunities to increase recurring revenue. n Conduct site surveys and assess customer requirements. n Prepare, present and negotiate service quotations and proposals. n Generate opportunities for remedial works, reactive works, upgrades and small installations. n Follow up quotations and maximise conversion rates. n Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts. n Identify new customers and develop business through networking, referrals and industry contacts. n Develop cross-selling opportunities across the wider business. n Work closely with service managers, engineers and operational teams. n Ensure accurate handover of new contracts and projects. n Skills & Experience n n n Previous experience selling service contracts, maintenance agreements or technical services . n Proven experience in business development and account management. n Experience within fire, security, electrical, FM or a related engineering industry . n Ability to understand technical specifications and compliance requirements. n Strong communication, negotiation and commercial skills. n Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems. n Full UK driving licence. n Desirable: Knowledge of fire alarm, security or electrical systems; experience within a service-led engineering business; knowledge of BS5839, BS5266, NSI, BAFE and relevant electrical regulations; experience using quotation or service management software.n n For further information on the role and company, please APPLY NOW or contact Rhymel Henderson for a confidential discussion.n INDLOW n n JBRP1_UKTJ
