Security Engineer L3

Overview

In this role you will advance our AI-enabled security capabilities and automation. You will own vulnerability management, prioritise remediation, and shape security outcomes across the business. You’ll build AI-powered workflows to speed up issue detection, investigation, and resolution, while collaborating with engineering teams to secure AI adoption. Your work will connect security, engineering, and operations to reduce risk and improve efficiency, with a clear impact on customer trust.

Responsibilities

• Evolve security capabilities towards AI-enabled security engineering and automation
• Own and improve vulnerability management and remediation workflows
• Build and support AI-powered workflows and agentic processes for security issue handling
• Integrate security tooling with engineering and operations to reduce manual effort
• Coordinate external security testing (penetration tests, bug bounty) and drive findings to resolution
• Support incident response and containment of security incidents
• Use threat intelligence to prioritise security work and strengthen posture
• Partner with engineers and platform teams to embed security into delivery

Key requirements

• Hands-on experience in security engineering, vulnerability management, cyber operations or related security field
• Track record of owning remediation of security vulnerabilities
• Interest in AI and automation with practical application to operations
• Experience with APIs, integrations, workflows and automation tooling
• Strong scripting/programming ability (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Experience coordinating penetration tests, bug bounty programs or security assessments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and security principles
• Ability to influence across multiple teams and break silos
• Strong problem-solving skills balancing risk with business outcomes
• Curious mindset and willingness to shape AI-driven security engineering
