Health & Safety Manager – FM (Exclusive role)

Based in Greater Belfast

Job Overview

• The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for leading the organisation’s health and safety function, andforms part of the organisation’s management function and works closely with the Facilities Manager, senior managers and operational leads.
• Health and Safety Leadership, Policy and Governance
• Risk Management and Assurance
• Incident Management, Investigation and Learning
• Statutory, Regulatory and External Compliance
• Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity
• Audit, Monitoring and Continuous Assurance
• Communication, Training and Safety Culture
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

Education & Competencies:

• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety E.G. NEBOSH Diploma
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management and with facilities management knowledge
• Ability to work in various environments, including office settings, residential/school/ day care facilities, and outdoor areas
• Commitment to highest standards in Health and Safety.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Additional Requirements:

• Current driving licence and access to a car for business use.
• Available to work occasional evenings and weekends (on call rota).
• Valid work permit.
• Access NI check.
