IT & Systems Lead – Law Firm – Newcastle upon Tyne
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (regular travel to Leeds)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT & Systems Lead to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Newcastle upon Tyne.
This is a varied, hands‑on position combining IT support, Microsoft 365 administration, business systems management, technology projects and process improvement.
Working closely with the Director of Operations, you will take ownership of the firm’s day‑to‑day IT operations across its Newcastle and Leeds offices, helping to improve systems, efficiency and user experience.
The Role
- Providing day‑to‑day IT support and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Managing Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Supporting Power Platform, Power Automate, Dynamics CRM and business systems.
- Coordinating external IT suppliers and resolving support issues.
- Supporting technology upgrades, automation, AI tools and systems improvements.
- Managing IT equipment, user access, licences and onboarding.
- Delivering systems training and supporting cybersecurity and compliance.
About You
- Experience in IT support, systems administration or technology operations.
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, particularly SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Power Platform, automation and business systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and organisational skills.
- Confident supporting non‑technical users and coordinating external suppliers.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Newcastle and Leeds.
Previous law firm experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
