Business Manager, Adviser Sales

Overview

As a strategic partner to the Chief Distribution Officer, you will lead the CDO Office and drive the execution of the Distribution strategy. You will oversee governance, performance management and organisational effectiveness, translating priorities into measurable outcomes with senior stakeholders. The role offers exposure to leadership, transformation and growth initiatives, strengthening executive leadership capabilities. Based in Edinburgh, you will work within Aberdeen’s blended working approach and help shape commercial growth and client/adviser experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of the Distribution strategy and transformation initiatives
• Act as trusted advisor to the Chief Distribution Officer with insights and recommendations
• Lead performance management, executive reporting and leadership materials
• Coordinate governance activity and regulatory oversight across Distribution and key Group functions
• Design and manage the operating rhythm of the Distribution Leadership Team
• Develop executive communications and maintain stakeholder relationships across leadership and strategic partners

Key requirements

• Significant experience in a Chief of Staff, Business Manager, Strategy, Consulting or senior business leadership support role
• Strong commercial, strategic and analytical capability with sound judgement and discretion
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver outcomes through collaboration and leadership
• Experience operating within a regulated environment and managing governance requirements
• Outstanding communication, presentation and executive stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading complex change, transformation or strategic delivery initiatives
