We are currently recruiting forClass 2 HGV Refuse Driversto join a busy waste and recycling operation based inWidnes.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for atemp-to-perm position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

• Driving Class 2 refuse collection vehicles
• Collecting household and commercial waste
• Working across the North West
• Monday to Friday shifts
• Start times between5am and 6am
• Finishing by5pm at the latest, normally earlier
• Maximum12-hour shifts
• No tramping or overnight stays
• Completing all allocated jobs before finishing for the day

Requirements

• ValidClass 2 (Cat C) licence
• Minimum6 months’ Class 2 driving experience
• Good understanding of driver hours and road safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors and as part of a team
• Willing to complete an induction before starting

Pay & Benefits

• 14.87 per hour
• Up to46 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

• No night-rate or overtime rate applicable
• Weekends not normally required while temporary; weekend work may apply if you move onto a permanent contract
