Health Safety Environment Advisor

Job Advert: EHS & Quality Adviser (6-Month Contract, Clitheroe – Onsite)

Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire (Onsite)

Contract: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and improve site EHS & Quality management systems.
• Develop and deliver effective EHS training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advise managers and teams on compliance with EHS, safety, and quality policies.
• Conduct audits to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
• Liaise with external providers for occupational health, emissions monitoring, and equipment calibration.
• Support accident and incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Administer and develop the site’s Integrated Management System and SharePoint document management.
• Coordinate internal and external audit programmes

About You

• NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent) and relevant EHS workplace experience
• Experience in high hazard or chemical manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of EHS legislation, occupational health, environmental monitoring, and waste management
• Experience with integrated management systems and ISO standards
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and drive change.
