Project Engineer

Overview

In this role you will manage New Product Introduction and product improvements for Moog’s flight control products, balancing hands-on engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and within budget, ensuring technical documentation and customer specifications are met. The position combines technical oversight with customer relationship management to drive successful development programs. This is a hands-on role that supports the aerospace lifecycle from requirements through entry into service, within a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Balance technical work with project management to drive new product development
• Manage customer relationships and report progress to management
• Apply Moog’s Common Development Process to NPI and improvement projects
• Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery with regular status reporting
• Deliver all technical documentation proving product meets specifications
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Coordinate with multidiscipline engineering teams to allocate resources
• Monitor cost and schedule performance of development programs

Key requirements

• Degree in mechanical, systems, or aerospace engineering
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong project management abilities and technical knowledge
