About Birch Tree Place

Birch Tree Place is a welcoming supported living service located in the heart of Bartley Green, supporting people to live independent, active, and rewarding lives.

The people we support enjoy being part of their local community and making the most of everything the area has to offer. From visits to Woodgate Valley Country Park and local cafés to volunteering opportunities, social events, shopping trips, and leisure activities, no two days are ever the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care Support Worker, you’ll help people live independently and confidently while encouraging them to get the most out of life.

Your role may include:

• Supporting people within their own homes
• Encouraging independence, choice, and confidence
• Assisting with daily living skills
• Providing personal care when required
• Supporting people to access community activities and local events
• Accompanying people on shopping trips and social outings
• Supporting hobbies and interests, including baking, crafts, music, fitness, and gardening
• Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support

Most importantly, you’ll be helping people build confidence, achieve their goals, and live fulfilling lives.

No Experience? No Problem.

You don’t need previous experience in social care to join Lifeways.

Available Opportunities

Full-Time Nights

36 Hours Per Week

• 10:00pm – 7:00am
• Four shifts per week

Full-Time Days

37.5 Hours Per Week

Shift patterns include:

• 7:00am – 2:30pm
• 2:30pm – 10:00pm
• Long day shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm

Flexibility to work weekends is required.
