Akkodis is currently recruiting for two experienced AI/ML Engineers to design, develop and deploy secure AI solutions for autonomous and mission-critical systems.

The Role

You will work across the full AI lifecycle from concept through deployment, helping deliver high-value AI programmes within defence and other safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI and ML solutions.Build machine learning, deep learning and computer vision models.Develop solutions using LLMs and emerging AI technologies.Support autonomous capabilities using ROS 2 and similar frameworks.Implement robust software engineering, testing, CI/CD and MLOps practices.Support bids, demonstrations, workshops and customer engagements.Ensure adherence to Responsible AI, cyber security and safety standards.

Essential Experience

• Experience delivering AI and ML solutions in complex, safety-critical environments.Strong Python development experience.Expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision and LLMs.Experience with autonomous technologies and ROS 2.Experience taking solutions from concept to deployment.Knowledge of CI/CD, cloud technologies and MLOps.Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
