Real Estate Finance Associate

Wicker Hamilton is recruiting a Real Estate Finance Associate to join a highly regarded team at an elite US law firm in London.

This opportunity offers complex UK and cross-border financing work, advising financial sponsors, investors and lenders on transactions involving a broad range of real estate assets.

The role

You will work closely with partners and colleagues across the firm on:

• Acquisition and investment finance
• Refinancings and loan restructurings
• Financing of individual assets and property portfolios
• Drafting and negotiating finance documents
• Managing key transaction workstreams and coordinating specialist input
• Building client relationships and taking increasing responsibility for transactions

About you

You will have:

• 1+ years’ PQE with strong Real Estate Finance experience
• Experience gained within a recognised City, international or US law firm
• Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team
• An interest in developing your career within a sophisticated international finance practice
