Overview
In this role you will support the hospital’s financial performance by ensuring accurate data capture, billing and revenue recognition across NHS and private activity. You will act as the main link between hospital departments and the Ramsay Finance Hub, working with clinical and operational teams to keep activity correctly recorded and reconciled. Your work enables timely coding, billing and revenue optimisation, while resolving financial queries to sustain smooth financial operations. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on patient care finance. Responsibilities
- Support accurate capture, reconciliation and billing of NHS and private activity
- Act as liaison between Woodthorpe Hospital and Ramsay Finance Hub
- Ensure departments comply with data collection and documentation for timely coding and billing
- Support revenue optimisation initiatives
- Investigate and resolve billing queries and disputes
- Collaborate with clinical teams to maintain patient pathways and worklists
- Coordinate consultant-related financial queries and support their resolution
- Support cash handling, refunds and financial administration per Ramsay policies
- Monitor outstanding issues, escalate when needed and produce performance reports
