Packaging Solutions Line Leader

Overview

In this role you will lead and work hands-on on the packaging line, driving daily production targets, quality, and customer requirements. You’ll guide a Co-Pack Operatives team, set performance standards, and promote safety and teamwork on the line. You will stay close to operations, stepping in on the line as needed to meet demand. You’ll influence efficiency and accuracy through clear communication and proactive problem solving. This is a chance to shape shop-floor performance within DHL’s global logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Co-Pack Operatives
• Work on the production line as required to meet operational demands
• Achieve daily production and customer targets
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources across the shift
• Conduct team briefings and communicate operational priorities
• Ensure packaging accuracy aligned with customer specifications
• Identify and escalate operational issues to management

Key requirements

• Experience in team leadership roles within warehouse, manufacturing, packaging or logistics
• Hands-on approach with willingness to work on the line
• Ability to motivate and engage a team to meet targets
• Strong problem-solving and quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment
• Basic IT skills advantageous
