Senior Applications Specialist

Overview

In this senior, hands-on role you will own and optimize enterprise applications to support the firm’s people and operations. You will lead continuous improvement, manage configurations and integrations, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure platforms, including iManage. You will coach colleagues and help drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and legal technology. This is a growth-focused position in the Applications team with a chance to shape tech enablement across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert third-line support for business-critical applications, troubleshooting complex issues and identifying root causes
• Manage applications including configuration, access, permissions, integrations, and environments
• Support upgrades, releases and changes from testing through to implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experience and support AI-enabled tools adoption
• Monitor application performance and coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues and drive improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across the team
• Coach and support colleagues, driving automation and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Experience supporting and administering enterprise applications, ideally in legal or professional services
• Experience with SaaS and cloud-based applications, including configuration, integrations and releases
• Strong understanding of incident, problem, change and release management, plus security and data governance
• Experience coaching, mentoring, team leadership or line management
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management with ability to explain technical concepts
• Collaborative, service-focused, curious approach with interest in emerging technology and continuous improvement
• Experience with document management platforms such as iManage (desirable)
