Associate Software Developer – UI Development

Overview

As an Associate Software Developer in UI Development, you design and build reusable UI components for Risk Solution tools. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and software is robust, testable, and scalable. The role involves contributing to cloud-native solutions and secure development practices to support financial risk management. You’ll collaborate with UI/visual designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality interfaces. Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, testable UI software within timelines
• Collaborate with managers, developers, UI/visual designers, and product managers to meet functional requirements
• Participate in scoping, scheduling, and tracking of tasks; alert stakeholders to blockers
• Support automated tests with broad code coverage and participate in code reviews
• Adhere to security policies to support secure software development goals

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, Engineering or related field
• UI development proficiency in JavaScript using React, Angular, or similar
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Understanding of version control and CI/CD concepts (Git, Gradle, and/or GitHub workflows)
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Proof of Right to work in the UK
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
