Finance Officer P2P

Overview

In this role you enable efficient purchase-to-pay processes within council contracts and help manage procurement documentation. You work closely with contract officers and internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliant purchasing and accurate record-keeping. You will support the Contracts and Grants Register and help fulfill procurement queries, contributing to the council’s strategic contracts operations. This position offers an opportunity to impact public procurement services in a diverse city and support an inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper use of P2P processes and procurement documentation in council contracts
• Maintain and update the central Contracts and Grants Register
• Place travel and stationery orders in line with corporate contracts
• Assist contract officers, managers and handle procurement queries from stakeholders
