Business Change Manager

Overview

As Business Change Manager you will lead people-centered change across Softcat’s technology, process, and organisation initiatives. You’ll work with delivery teams and leadership to design and embed change, ensuring adoption and measurable benefits. You’ll be a trusted advisor on impact assessment, adoption, training, and continuous improvement within technology-enabled transformation programmes. This role sits in the Change & Adoption team, partnering with stakeholders to realise value beyond go-live. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, adaptive culture that values diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own holistic change strategies and plans to ensure adoption and embedding of initiatives
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business to optimise change uptake
• Lead adoption, training, and business readiness to make teams confident and capable during change
• Ensure benefits realisation and continuous improvement to sustain value post-go-live

Key requirements

• Proven experience in a Business Change or Change Management role or similar
• Strong understanding of change frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, APMG, Kotter) with pragmatic application
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear messages for varied audiences
• Experience delivering change within technology-enabled transformation programmes
