About Us
Event Support Team is a fast-growing, dynamic company delivering car parking, traffic management, and staffing solutions at some of the UK’s biggest live events. Our work takes us to football and rugby stadiums, major festivals, concerts, firework displays, Christmas markets, and much more. From planning months in advance to coordinating on the ground on event day, we pride ourselves on smooth logistics, brilliant client relationships, and a team that thrives under pressure.
We’re now looking for an organised and proactive Account Manager to join the engine room of our business: the account management and staffing operations that keep every event running like clockwork.
About the Role
As Account Manager, you’ll be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients and venues, making sure every event is planned, staffed and resourced to a high standard. Using our staffing portal, you’ll plan events and set staffing levels, working closely with colleagues, event supervisors and the on-boarding team in a busy, fast-moving office, balancing multiple events at once.
This is a full‑time, office‑based role. Occasional weekend work may be required to suit the needs of the business, depending on the events calendar.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients and staff, building strong, long-term relationships
- Understand client requirements and make sure they are consistently met to a high standard
- Use our staffing portal to plan events and set the right staffing levels
- Plan and organise event resources, including staffing, equipment and logistics
- Manage scheduling and staff allocation so every event is fully resourced on time
- Work closely with the on-boarding team to make sure staff are ready and in place for events
- Coordinate across multiple concurrent events, particularly during peak seasons
- Handle changes and issues quickly, especially around event-day staffing
- Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues, event supervisors and clients
- Help identify ways to improve systems, workflows and processes
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in account management, client service, operations or a similar role, ideally in a fast‑paced environment
- Confident, professional communicator with clients and colleagues
- Excellent organisation and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using IT systems and online portals to plan and manage work
- A problem‑solver who thrives under pressure and can juggle multiple deadlines
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends as the business requires
Desirable:
- Experience within events, car parking, traffic management, or workforce/staffing operations
- Familiarity with scheduling software or workforce management systems
- Understanding of the demands of live events
Why Join Event Support Team?
- Be part of a close‑knit, supportive team working on exciting, high‑profile events across the UK
- Genuine variety: no two weeks look the same, from football fixtures and festivals to firework displays and Christmas markets
- Real responsibility and the chance to grow with a fast‑growing company
- Competitive salary based on experience (£27,000 to £35,000)
- Office‑based role at our Head Office in Exhall, CV7 9GE
