An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a busy Locality Team in Wakefield. Working within Child Protection and Court proceedings, you’ll manage complex caseloads, undertake statutory interventions and work closely with children and families to achieve positive outcomes.

The Role:

• Manage Child Protection and Court cases within a Locality Team.
• Complete assessments, care planning and statutory visits.
• Prepare high-quality court reports and statements.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote permanence.
• Contribute to decision-making and risk management on complex cases.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Recent Child Protection and Court experience is essential.
• Available for full-time working.
• Ability to work from the office when required, including duty weeks.
