Application Specialist

We’re supporting a client looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 & Copilot Application Specialist to provide 3rd-line application support, troubleshoot complex issues and optimise the use of Microsoft’s productivity tools.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications, alongside near-expert knowledge of Copilot and its configuration, permissions and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist 3rd-line application support across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook and Office 365.
• Act as the escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 application issues, investigating root causes and implementing effective resolutions.
• Support Copilot configuration, licensing, access management and ongoing service improvements.
• Ensure appropriate security, permissions and governance controls are in place across Microsoft 365 and Copilot.
• Troubleshoot application integrations, user access issues and functionality across the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Work closely with technical teams and end users to improve application performance, adoption and user experience.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience providing application support across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Near-expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, whether gained through professional experience or extensive personal use.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 security, permissions, governance and licensing.
• Proven experience providing 3rd-line application support and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to stakeholders.
