Housing Enforcement Officer – HMO & Disrepair Specialist

Stonehouse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Housing Enforcement Officer for a Midlands local authority on a contract basis. The role focuses on raising standards in the Private Rented Sector using intelligence-led enforcement and HHSRS interventions.

You will handle disrepair cases, damp and mould, and unlicensed HMOs, applying Civil Penalties, RROs, and other enforcement tools. Collaboration with Planning, Trading Standards, Fire & Rescue and Police is essential to targeted operations.
