Controls Engineer

Overview

As a manufacturing electrical engineer at 3M in London, Ontario, you will lead the maintenance team on capital projects and drive reliability improvements. Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team and contractors on capital project execution
• Implement EHS, renewal and operational improvement projects
• Identify poorly performing equipment and optimize output
• Support production to achieve high runtime and quality

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in electrical, electronics or mechatronics engineering
• Three years of reliability and/or design engineering experience in diverse environments
• Current, valid Driver’s License

• Interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing needs
• Ability to work independently or in teams
• CAD knowledge
• Analytical problem solving for line-down situations
• Experience with Rockwell and Allen-Bradley hardware
