Class 2 Driver

StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers (HGV2 / LGV2 ) to work with a respected logistics partner in the Portbury area. We’re seeking professional, dependable, and flexible drivers to support ongoing operations.

Immediate Starts

12Months Experience

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• £17.00ph plus holiday pay or £19.05 including holiday pay

The Role

• • Store deliveries
  • Sun to Thursday rota
  • Start times 14:00/1500
  • 4–10 drops per shift
  • Deliveries across Bristol, Cornwall and up to Oxfordshire
  • Goods delivered in cages/totes
  • Handball involved
  • 2-man delivery team – either 2 drivers or driver + mate
  • Safe and professional delivery to store

Driver Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (LGV 2) UK license
• Minimum 12 months of recent HGV Class 1 experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho)
• Maximum 6 penalty points (No IN, DR, or DD convictions)
• Previous curtain sider experience
• Strong UK road network knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
• Physically fit and presentable

All drivers are required to complete an assessment and induction
