HGV Class 1

StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers (HGV1 / LGV1 / CE) to work with a respected logistics partner in the Portbury area. We’re seeking professional, dependable, and flexible drivers to support ongoing operations.

Immediate Starts

6 Months Experience

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• Mon–Fri AM: £18.00ph plus holiday pay or £20.17 including holiday pay
• Saturday/Sunday : £20.00ph plus holiday pay or £22.41 including holiday pay

The Role

• AM Curtain sider work (no handball, all FLT unloaded/loaded)
• AM: 05:00 – 07:00
• Monday to Friday
• Shift durations between 10 –12 hours
• Immediate starts available
• Assmt required and then 1st 3 days will be training.

Driver Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (LGV CE) UK license
• Minimum 6 months of recent HGV Class 1 experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho)
• Maximum 6 penalty points (No IN, DR, or DD convictions)
• Previous curtain sider experience
• Strong UK road network knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
• Physically fit and presentable
