Class 1 Driver

Pay Rates
PAYE Rates (Holiday Accrued Separately)
Monday to Friday:
£18.00 per hourIncluding holiday pay:

Holiday pay is accrued separately and paid in line with Pure Staff holiday procedures. Rolled-up holiday pay is

The Role
As a
HGV Class 1 Night Driver , you will be completing refrigerated trunking runs between RDCs and logistics hubs. This is primarily a trunking role with minimal physical work involved, making it ideal for professional drivers who enjoy straightforward, organised routes.Typical duties include:Refrigerated trunking between RDCsSafe operation of Class 1 vehiclesCompleting POD and transport documentation accuratelyCarrying out vehicle checks and defect reportingMaintaining professional standards whilst on customer sitesFollowing all driver hours, WTD and road transport legislation
Shift Pattern
Sunday to Thursday nightsStart times between
17:00 and 20:00Typical shift length of
8-12 hoursOptional overtime shifts availableOngoing, regular work available
Requirements
To be considered for this
Class 1 Driver
role, you will need:Valid UK Category C+E LicenceMinimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferredValid CPC Qualification CardDigital Tachograph CardGood understanding of driver hours and working time regulationsReliable and professional attitude
