Lead Children’s Services Social Worker — Deputy Manager (Hybrid)

Thurrock Council in Grays is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead the Review Team within children’s social care on a 3‑month contract. You will supervise three Social Workers, provide professional guidance, and oversee complex cases, safeguarding, and care planning.

You will deputise for the Team Manager, support performance management and quality assurance, and promote partnership working with families and multi‑agency professionals under the Children Acts and statutory guidance.
