Safran Nacelles is currently seeking a Tool Cleaner to join its Composites team in Burnley. Working within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring production tooling is maintained to the highest standards, supporting ongoing manufacturing operations and quality requirements.
Working Hours
This position operates on a backshift pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Friday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 37 hours per week
The Role
As a Tool Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning, preparation and maintenance of production tooling used within the composites manufacturing process. This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised aerospace business and become part of a skilled and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment.
- Removing residue and contamination from tooling to production standards.
- Conducting visual inspections to ensure tools are serviceable and ready for use.
- Following health, safety and quality procedures at all times.
- Supporting production requirements and maintaining a clean, organised work area.
- Working effectively as part of the composites production team.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, aerospace, automotive or industrial environments is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to follow procedures and work safely.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
