Bring your technical expertise and eye for detail to Gateshead Bodyshop as a Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician. Play a key role in the repair process by removing and refitting vehicle components, identifying faults and completing repairs in line with manufacturer methods. Take pride in precise, high-quality workmanship while developing your skills within a supportive team.
What do you need to succeed as a Bodyshop Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician?
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical and trim work within an automotive body repair environment, with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Strong skills in removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components, with excellent attention to correct fit, function and finish.
- Confidence identifying faults, using diagnostic equipment, following manufacturer repair methods and managing your workload efficiently.
- A commitment to safe working practices and thorough quality checks, working collaboratively with panel and paint colleagues throughout the repair process.
