Corporate Development Manager

Overview

You will drive deal origination and support buy-side advisory activities for a private equity–backed, acquisitive business. Working closely with the C‑Suite, you’ll help shape growth through bolt-on acquisitions and potential exit planning. You may also engage in integration work with the Financial Controller and gain exposure to the future PE sale process. This is a high‑visibility, career‑defining role with potential equity linked to the company’s future outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Originate and source M&A opportunities on the buy-side
• Partner with C‑Suite to shape deal strategy and execution
• Support due diligence and deal structuring processes
• Collaborate on integration activities with the Financial Controller
• Contribute to planning the potential sale of the business to new PE owners
• Engage in valuation, financial modeling, and scenario planning
• Assist in tracking performance metrics post-transaction
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder communication

Key requirements

• Experience in either buy-side or sell-side advisory
• Proven track record in deal origination
• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong ambition to build a career in corporate finance
