Civil Engineer – Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you contribute to civil and infrastructure design across SuDS, drainage, utilities, earthworks and highways, supporting multidisciplinary delivery. You’ll integrate civil design with other disciplines to ensure constructible outcomes and represent Ramboll with clients and stakeholders. You’ll contribute to health, safety and quality best practice and support business development through relationship-building and bids. This is a path toward ICE Chartership within a globally focused, foundation-owned company that prioritises sustainable change. Responsibilities

• Contribute to civil and infrastructure design delivery across projects (SuDS, surface & foul drainage, utilities, earthworks, highways)
• Integrate civil design with other disciplines for coordinated and constructible outcomes
• Develop skills to represent Ramboll with clients and stakeholders
• Contribute to health, safety and quality best practice (CDM) across the team
• Support business development through relationships, market intelligence and discipline-specific bids
• Champion Ramboll’s Global Strategy, Partner for Sustainable Change
• Take ownership of career development toward ICE Chartership

Key requirements

• Technical background in civil engineering: SuDS, drainage and earthworks with up-to-date standards
• Experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages
• Interest in delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication with experience producing technical reports
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Actively working toward CEng or IEng with a relevant institution
• Interest in learning new skills and progressing your career
• Desirable software experience: InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, Civil 3D
