Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing Lead Analyst – C13 – BELFAST

Overview

In this role you will plan, execute and report control testing within Citi’s Global Markets. You will support the 1LOD Markets Controls Testing programme, focusing on assessing design and operational effectiveness of controls across trading and sales activities. You will work with Front Office, Compliance and Risk teams to challenge control design and drive remediation where needed. The opportunity combines risk governance, testing, and stakeholder collaboration to strengthen Citi’s risk management and control framework.

Responsibilities

• Execute and report results of control testing across Markets Trading and Sales
• Supervise and coach junior team members in testing execution
• Monitor testing programme progress and escalate delivery obstacles
• Challenge stakeholders on control design and effectiveness
• Support remediation activities identified through testing
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with Front Office, Markets Conduct Risk, Compliance and Operational Risk
• Present concise testing outputs to stakeholders
• Provide SME support on controls across all lines of defense
• Draft procedures and contribute to CMDA meetings
• Identify monitoring breaks and propose enhancements
• Ensure risk and control responsibilities are embedded within Central Testing Utility
• Participate in risk-aware decision making and escalation of control issues

Key requirements

• Experience in Front Office controls testing, internal or external audit, or similar control disciplines
• Understanding of Markets activities and related regulations
• Knowledge of Markets risks and associated controls
• Strong grasp of control design assessment and effectiveness testing
• Experience coaching and developing team members
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
