Legal Counsel

Overview

In this role you will serve as a key legal partner to UK&I functional teams, advising on broad commercial transactions and managing critical agreements. You will support internal compliance and handle occasional real estate matters, disputes, advertising and data privacy issues. Based in West London with a hybrid schedule, you will contribute to a world-class in-house team and help drive business growth within a meritocratic culture.

Responsibilities

• Advise on broad commercial transactions and negotiate/review commercial agreements
• Support internal legal compliance across the UK&I business
• Provide guidance on real estate transactions as needed
• Analyse disputes and support on dispute resolution
• Advise on advertising and marketing matters
• Consult on data privacy considerations for projects and initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align legal strategy with business goals

Key requirements

• Qualified lawyer in England & Wales
• Unrestricted UK working rights; visa sponsorship not available
• In-house experience in a commercial environment
• Retail/FMCG/consumer industry exposure valued but not essential
• 1–2 PQE as a guide; relevant experience considered regardless of exact PQE
• Ability to work from West London three days per week
