IGA Lead Engineer

Overview

As Lead SRE, you ensure the reliability, availability, performance and security of a portfolio of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) services. You own and drive SLOs for identity lifecycle, access provisioning, deprovisioning, and certification, collaborating with product and platform teams to deliver secure access management. You will champion observability, resilience and scalability across the IAM estate while aligning with security and compliance needs. This role offers a chance to shape operational excellence and impact how users access and govern identities at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reliability and operational performance of IGA services (identity lifecycle, provisioning, deprovisioning, access certification, and role management).
• Identify and eliminate operational toil via automation to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to IAM/security control frameworks with monitoring, controls and recovery capabilities for compliance and audit needs.
• Oversee teams responsible for supporting and continuously improving IAM/IGA services to meet current and future demand.
• Develop performance measures and reliability targets using telemetry to drive service improvement.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to IGA platforms, balancing reliability, scalability, security and user experience.
• Use observability and analytics to identify risks and drive remediation before impact.
• Optimize platform capacity, resilience and operational processes for sustainable, cost-effective IAM services.
• Establish testing, validation and recovery strategies for IAM/IGA services, including disaster recovery capabilities.
