Production Engineer

Overview

In this Production Engineer role, you’ll support electronics manufacturing for a technology-led business that produces complex products for customers worldwide. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability, build robust test systems, and drive improvements in processes and product quality. You’ll shape how new products are introduced and scaled, delivering practical, cross-functional impact. This is a hands-on role with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the introduction of new products into production with Product Engineering, Production and Supply Chain
• Support product development to ensure manufacturability and testability
• Contribute to the design and development of production test systems
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiencies and product quality
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within production
• Support and maintain existing manufacturing processes and production test equipment
• Collaborate with manufacturing subcontractors to align their production and testing with internal requirements
• Provide technical support across Engineering and Production

Key requirements

• Experience in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar role
• Strong experience manufacturing and testing complex electronic products
• Knowledge of PCB/PCBA manufacturing and SMT
• Understanding of electronic product design and testing
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Ability to identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes
