As a Construction Associate, you will support a Bristol law firm on a range of development projects, working closely with an experienced partner to deliver high-quality, non-contentious construction work. You will advise on contracts, consultant appointments and project security, while collaborating with real estate teams on transactions. The role offers strong support and clear progression within a collaborative, inclusive environment. You’ll tackle diverse challenges from commercial development to emerging clean energy schemes, shaping client outcomes and long-term career development. This is a client-facing role with meaningful impact on projects for developers, contractors and funders.

Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts and bespoke construction documentation
- Advising on consultant appointments, collateral warranties, and project security documents
- Supporting real estate transactions and collaborating with wider legal teams
- Assisting with construction-related dispute matters when required
Key requirements
- 3+ years’ PQE with strong non-contentious construction experience
- Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
