Group Finance Manager (Oil & Gas)

Overview

In this role you will own the financial and joint venture reporting for a listed oil & gas group, including statutory accounts, audits, and VAT. You will work closely with the Group Financial Director and the small senior team to deliver timely financial statements and robust JV reporting. The role offers international exposure and a clear path to contribute to ambitious growth plans as a key finance partner. You will shape the external reporting processes and liaise with major auditors to support the business’s expansion goals.

Responsibilities

• Produce year-end, half-year, and quarterly financial statements
• Manage joint venture accounting and budgets
• Lead the audit process and liaise with Big 4 auditors
• Prepare and file UK VAT returns
• Support statutory accounting and reporting activities

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant
• Listed Oil & Gas or engineering industry experience (preferred)
• Desire to progress in international oil & gas business
