Network Engineer

Overview

In this role you will hands-on automate enterprise networks using Ansible and Terraform, focusing on Cisco Nexus/ACI, F5 load balancers, and security infrastructure. You’ll automate configuration, patching, testing, and validation while supporting critical network services and incident resolution. You will collaborate with Network, Security and Platform teams to improve reliability and efficiency in a financial services environment. A SC clearance is preferred, adding mission-critical security context to your work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network automation using Ansible and Terraform
• Automate network configuration, patching, and pre/post-change testing
• Support and troubleshoot Cisco infrastructure (Nexus, ACI)
• Maintain and enhance F5 load balancing and security platforms
• Support routing, switching, firewalls and critical network services
• Investigate complex incidents and contribute to infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with Network, Security and Platform teams to improve reliability and efficiency

Key requirements

• SC Clearance preferred
• Strong network engineering experience with automation/IaC
• Hands-on Ansible and Terraform
• Strong Cisco experience (Nexus, ACI)
• Experience with F5 LTM/DNS
• Understanding of routing, switching and network security
• Automation of configuration, testing and validation
• Strong troubleshooting and support for business-critical infrastructure
