Electrical Technician

We have an excellent opportunity for a Electrical Technician/Inspector to join a leading equipment rental company serving the service industry

Working with and learning on a wide spectrum of rigging equipment, The Electrical Technician will play a key part in this company’s fast paced scaling and global growth.
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Inspection, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of rigging, lifting equipment and chain hoists.
- To fault find issues on a range of equipment including some three phase appliances/power distribution systems.
- Broad testing of completed repairs (including PAT) before managing the return to stock. xwwtmva
- Work with the inventory team to ensure stock repair supplies are maintained at appropriate levels.
- Understanding the priorities of the incoming repair stock and deciding on the most cost-efficient repair options
Experience required for the Electrical Technician
- Experience and able to test and prepare three phase electrical equipment
- Experience with rigging, lifting equipment or chain hoists would be a distinct advantage, however not essential
- Physically fit and able to carry manual handling duties
- Technical qualifications would be an advantage, however, not essential
